Beirut, Lebanon

Bio: A simple person who loves to express different feelings and thoughts in writing, I write since childhood but I wouldn't call myself a "writer". Passionate and honest, I write mainly in classical Arabic and Lebanese Arabic as well (my mother language) but love to write in English as much as I can even though French is my second language. I have a law degree but working in a totally different field. I'm a founder member of Amnesty International groups in Lebanon and remained a member for almost 6 years. My previous Human Rights work was the best part of my career and the volunteering part was even better. I still try to come back whenever I have time. I believe in mutual respect and Reciprocity in all kind of relationships in life. "What goes around comes around" be aware of your actions and how you treat people because eventually everything will be back to you, good or bad. “As you sow, so shall you reap”. I don't seek followers, just real readers, genuine connection and interaction.

Huguetta, those are better words for how I feel about it than the words I myself have come up with on my own. We see eye to eye on that.

How is Beirut these days? I used to be well acquainted with a young woman from Beirut. Met her online when she was 13, watched her grow up, so to speak. But she went silent her senior year at uni. I haven’t heard from her in years. Naturally, i hope she’s alright.

She was among the most creative and brilliant people I’ve met online. Among other things, your history of activism reminds me of her.

    • Glad we are on the same page, well readers are people that appreciate mind, likers and followers are certainly seeking numbers.
Beirut is struggling between the will of life and the bad politicians ruling over 🙂 But our will for life is still stronger
Hope the woman you know is doing alright and she’s successful and happy. Your words are appreciated, I consider myself a regular person working hard to always improve
It was great interacting with you!

    • Thank you so much for stopping by 🙂 I was like is that my name? A note for me! It’s so rare to meet someone that holds the same name here 🙂
My greetings to you and your lovely muse, I’m from Lebanon 🙂

  2. After reading About you Huguette I realised why I am so fond of you. Am so glad to know about your humanitarian work. That is what keeps me going too.
    Much love and blessings 🤗
