The Versatile Blogger Award – Fifth & Sixth Nomination

First of all let me tell you that I hate to mix awards or do 2 in 1 awards, I like to give each nomination its proper post.
BUT, since the Versatile award is about stating 7 facts about yourself, not answering questions,

and since I really don’t want to reach a point where you know how I brush my teeth or else…
Therefore, I will mix these 2 nominations (fifth and sixth) and I’ll see about accepting more Versatile nominations.
Answering various questions is easier and more logical I guess. I don’t feel comfortable keep stating facts about myself and my life.

My fifth nomination for the Versatile award is from Gauri (Ms. Eager Beaver).

Gauri falls down a lot and I promised her if we ever met, I will help her get up after I laugh 😂 😂 . Well she agreed! 😀
I mentioned before that Gauri is very funny but she’s also a very good reader which is hard to find and I always appreciate her support and interest in my posts especially old ones
So check her blog for more:

My sixth nomination for the Versatile award is from “The Mind full Life” don’t know her name. she describes herself as an amateur photographer and over-sensitive writer with an incredible ability to stay positive in horrible situations. Hopelessly full of hope yet but too mature for “Once upon a time” & “happily ever after” . You can find lot of book reviews and other tips as well. Check her blog for more: https://themindfullife.home.blog/

Thank you so much for considering me worthy for all these nominations 🙂 I do appreciate it a lot ❤

The Versatile Blogger Award was created to celebrate blogs who have unique content, strong writing, and beautiful images or photographs.

Here are the rules for this award:

  1. Thank the person who nominated you.
  2. Link to the blog of the person who nominated you.
  3. State 7 facts about yourself.
  4. Nominate other bloggers who bring joy into your daily life.

7 Facts about myself: (digging & thinking 😄 😄 )

1- I have an aunt only 1 year older. When my mother was pregnant, my grandmother (from my mother side) was also pregnant and my uncle’s wife was pregnant. My mom lost the child (she was a girl) and they both delivered. Then the next year I was born. My aunt was my childhood friend. We have many lovely memories and lot of laughter.

2- I have 5 aunts and 4 uncles (one of them passed away because of a medical mistake).
So my grandparents (mother side) had 10 children, from my father side I had 2 uncles (passed away) and still have one aunt. We were never close unlike my mother’s side family.
The family gatherings were always awesome because we are a big family. I have now 27 cousins (mother side) and 3 cousins (father side).

3- I don’t trust anyone fully; I always take my precautions because human beings nature is becoming a bit critical nowadays.
Feed a dog and he’ll stay in front of your door day and night, do good to a human being, they start to plot how to hurt you, why you’re better than  them, etc…BUT it doesn’t mean that all people like that, but many are unfortunately.
I like a quote to Al-Mutanabbi: “be generous to a generous person and you’d win him, be generous to a mean person and he’s rebel on you”

4- I survived 4 car accidents without a scratch. I was never driving.

Back Seat Driver

5- I crashed my father’s car in the wall after I was being Schumacher, driving fast and taking the turn without using the brakes.
I was driving alone in a wide space and it was the first week I get in a car and it wasn’t that bad but he kept ranting about it for years. Oh well reason why I learned driving alone later on in a driving office.

6- I skipped one class when I was a child (Grade skipping), just after the Kindergarten, they thought I’m too smart for my class and they moved me to a higher grade, it was equivalent to 2nd grade I guess or 3rd. Not so aware of the American system. I was so little (4 years old) and I read the newspaper like a boss while other children are struggling to read the books we have.

7- I was supposed to be in Beirut Down town, on February 14th 2005, at 1:00 PM for a job exhibition that was taking place in Phoenicia Hotel that day and I was so hesitated to go and didn’t know what to say to my boss, so I didn’t go.
It’s the day of Hariri Assassination; the explosion took place at 12:55 PM in the same area.
Well you’re unlucky, I could have been pieces now 😀 😀

My Nominees:
Anyone who wants it, needs only to claim it and I will edit the post and add your name officially 🙂

Hope you enjoyed and you’re having a good week ahead

  1. Hi, Huguette. How are you doing? I hope you are fine. Congratulations 🎉🎉 I enjoyed reading more about you and I agree with you because I also like to answer questions more then stating facts about myself. I always end up repeating the facts and run out of them😂 I have an uncle who is 2 years younger than me😂😂 And it’s so amazing you have so many cousins.. I only have 2 from my father’s side who are very young and I am not close with the cousins from my mothes

    • Hello Ramyani, I’m good thank you 😊 hope you’re good as well
Glad you enjoyed and you agree on the facts thing, I mean I can find many facts but not comfortable to share 😁
Yes your uncle is younger than you, we have it also, because for my elder brother, his aunt is younger 😊
We had good relationships only with my mother side family and we had great days while we were children, when growing up things change of course
Appreciate your time and lovely interaction 🙏🏻😊

  2. Mmm love the family gathering as well! I’ve 16 cousins from my father’s side and it’s awesome! I love chaos 😂 it can get a Lil tiny bit crazy but it’s fine 😂
4 car accidents? Woah. I had one but I wasn’t dented from it. Someone has run their luck dry 😂😂

    • Yes used to love them a lot as well 😊 don’t like chaos at all but we used to enjoy so much and we’ve done crazy things 😁
Glad you weren’t dented 😕oh well the ink is so dry now I guess 😂 no more chances

  3. I LOVED reading this Huguette❤️ First off, I’m so so glad that you didn’t go to the job exhibition.😮 That’s terrifying! AND I TOO wrecked my dad’s car and 15 years later I’m still hearing about it!😂😂 You had me laughing hard with this post!🤣 Congratulations Huguette!!

    • Oh my dear always kind and sweet 😊😊 I guess many wish I went there 😂
Fathers are the same everywhere it seems, they can’t stop OMG 😂 just a car for god sake
Glad it made you laugh and glad to see you here 😊❤️ hope you’re having a great week 😊

    • Oh yes I love speed I can’t help it 😊
Well they said I was clever, don’t remember if I really was 😁 but always was perfect in reading and learning so fast
Your nomination is the next 😊 I’m working on it
Thank you so much for reading and the lovely comment 🙏🏻😊

  4. Congratulations Huguette!! Still learning more about you! It is hard trying to come up with 7 different facts, especially if you get the award several times! Oh well, I enjoyed it, look forward to more award posts from you.😂😁😹

  5. You survived 4 car accidents and crashed your father’s car into a wall.. That’s something indeed:) Congratulations❤️ It’s raining awards for you!

  6. Congratulations for your…. Sorry, lost the track of the number!!!😂😂😂
Hat off dear Huguette! Your big heart, honest nature, good humour, etc, etc, etc, never cease to amaze me, and I am just grateful that our paths crossed! ❤️❤️❤️

    • 😂😂 no problem I’ll make a list to keep a good track 😊 Thank you Sonia and appreciate your kind words, it’s so mutual and I’m grateful as well to have you here ❤ ❤

  7. I’m glad you aren’t in pieces now. &*& Hugs to you. Your intuition was telling you to stay put. On the day of 9/11…I was running late for work. I only worked only a few blocks from the World Trade Center. I should have been caught in rubble/chaos of everything…but I never made it downtown in time. I lived at the top of Manhattan and didn’t even get on the subway because my roommate was crying and told me I couldn’t go. We stared in awe at the television with what was happening in New York City…it is amazing where we end up in the whole timeline of life, isn’t it?

Congratulations on your nominations! And for surviving 4 car crashes! You have had such a unique life. Keep writing…I love to read your stories. &*& (hugs and hearts to you, I am just on my computer right now!)

    • Good morning dear Elizabeth, sorry I didn’t have access yesterday to reply the comments 😊 I do appreciate your interaction and I always believed that things happen for a good reason, and glad your roommate was crying so you don’t be on time which is was great for sure 😊 I heard many stories about people who were caught in something and survived because of that…it was some black day!
Oh yes I survived and I never blinked, I was never afraid of death, at some point I wanted to die but the thing that God was saying “NO” 😀
while driving I just did stupid scratches, never a big accident fortunately…
I’m glad you find my stories interesting, I feel so stupid keep mentioning facts about me as if I am something important hahaa
I’m on computer but I copy and paste the emojis haha 🤗🤗🤗 checking other comments now

  8. Congratulations, Huguette, i’m absolutely speechless and it’s not just your awards. I’m soooo tired today, didn’t sleep much last night, so i’m in a pretty quiet mood, which makes a change.💙

    Sending you big hugs, Lyndsey.

  9. “I hate to mix awards or do 2 in 1 awards, I like to give each nomination its proper post.” 😶😥 you’re making me guilty! 😭 But yes answering questions is easier.

I beat you on no. 2 because I have 13 aunts and uncles on my mother’s side and more than 9 on my father side. I haven’t met all of them yet (or probably never will)

Oh my god, you’re so lucky Hug! Just yesterday we passed a car accident and the car was burnt. I could smell the burned tires and my husband interrupted and say “probably human flesh too.” I hope you’re not eating right now. It’s my revenge for poking me in the opening of your post hahaha 😂 But the story is true.

    • Firstly, even if I’m eating nothing can make me feel disgusted or affected 😊 luckily! But you wanting to have revenge is so mean :/ :/ the post wasn’t about you so move on now (me frowning) hahahha
Now you’ll wish I wasn’t lucky and I was burnt in some car hahahah i know you do 😂 😂
Damn your family has no television or other hobbies???? 😂 😂 😂 OMG this is a big family, you beat the hell out of me!
Thank you for reading Jess I hope you don’t hate me? still wanna hug me?? hihihhihh

      • “still wanna hug me?” Hahahaha 😂 You’re hilarious! That’s why I love you so. haha, yes, a short small hug.

Yes, they no TV, so I guess both of my grandparents made making kids into their hobbies 😂

      • Too much! I refused to speak to my parents for two whole weeks when my mother got pregnant with the 4th child. And do you think it stop there? No. 2 more followed. Now I’m the oldest of 6 siblings and I’m old enough to be the mother of the 3 youngest. 😣 I won’t be adding so much to that number. It’s hard to grew up in a large family.

      • I can imagine, big families mean hard life and lot of sacrifices and compromises, we are 4 which is the average here for families, nowadays it’s 2 or 3 maximum and yet the poorest always have lot of kids! Don’t know why! Mother of s** hahaha

      • Since childhood my dream is two kids (max 3) but what you said is true. I guess it’s because the poorest are not the same educated about babymaking stuff haha 😂

    • hahhaa Rally required driving manual skills and I should learn driving manual all over, plus Rally requires that you beat another driver timing bust each one alone while I prefer street racing and challenge (turns or lane changes…we call it between here because it consists to drive between the cars because they are not willing to move and let you pass)
      Thank you for reading 😀 😀 ❤

  10. Oh wow! 30 cousins! That’s a big family! I have one and I message her I think once in a year 🤔
4 accidents, the explosion, oh wow! Are you sure you’re not a cat? 🤔 🐈 I’m glad you’re not pieces and I had the honor to know you 🤗 Stay safe! 😊 And congratulations 🎉🎊 🤗🤗🌷🌷

    • 😂😂😂If I’m a cat, I started to run out of lives 😂 because I survived other explosions by pure chance also and the war and the Shrapnel….I guess I’m an alien😂😂
Thanks dear appreciate the kindness, it was an honor knowing you as well 🤗🤗
Big family is great if you keep good relationships which is hard when you grow up but still we had wonderful days and memories as Children 🙂 Thank you for stopping by and the lovely exchange as always ❤ 🤗
